I’M BACK I’M BACK

Well hello there! It seems that I’ve stumbled back into the blogging world…mostly because there are so many different things that I like, I cannot even contain myself. So, I have to get them out there!

I guess my welcome back post will just be a few things that I am currently OBSESSED with.

Earth Essentials Olive and Avocado Deep Conditioning Masque – $10.45

This hair mask is a miracle! It made my dull, dry winter hair look amazing today. And, a super bonus? It smells SO yummy!!!

Hawiian Tropic Lime Coolada After Sun Moisturizer – $7.49

Okay, so I know it isn’t summer anymore (my school has been getting blasted with a “wintry mix” every day) buut I love the way this lotion smells! It reminds me of summer, and I really need that in the middle of a dreary winter. Plus, it helps me keep moisturized!

Okay, these are the only two things I’m going to talk about today, but I want to hear from you guys again! I miss the blogging world, and I can’t wait to gain your trust back. I love all of ya!

Madonna Wannabe?

Last night I went to the most funnn 80’s party, and what I wore was completely NOT boarding school worthy (unless I was going to a dance…but that’s a conversation for a different time). I had so much fun, and I had the most ridiculous outfit on…I videochatted with a couple of friends from school when I got home, and they couldn’t get enough of what I was wearing.

Wildfox Couture Hearts and Kisses Tube Top

I don’t know the price…it’s no longer available on the website (or anywhere else that I looked..) buuut it’s sooo amazing. I loooove it! I ordered it when I was at school, because I was trying to become Ke$ha…hahahahhaha

Hue Liquid Leggings $30

You can get these at most department stores, when you’re channeling your inner Lindsay Lohan….at least, that’s what happened to me…I was basically tricked by New York City, because I thought I would wear these all the time. I don’t. Buuuut I think that I should wear them a little more, because I loved them last night!

Annnnd last but not least, the Sam Edelman shoes I bought a couple of weeks ago.

Sephora Collection Duo Eyeshadow in Tropical Blue $16

I had a glittery version of the eyeshadow shown above, and it stretched all the way out to my temples. It was unbelievably excellent.

MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo $14.50

This color looks amazing on everyone, I promise.

Ha. Well, that was my nightt! I think I’m going to go shopping today, so if I get anything exciting I will let you guys know!

Backstabber – Ke$ha

Mawwwwning Sunshines!

Hey guys! I just had like a bajillion cups of coffee…because I was out until 4 last night! Ha. Welcome to the party life of kids in boarding schools. So, I decided to wake up to some Bergdorfs online shopping =] Yayayyay! I haven’t bought anything yet, simply because I love going to the actual store and buying it tehehe. I’ll show you guys a couple of things I want to get for the fall! (Which I’m SO excited for, in case you couldn’t tell)

Oh! Also, starting today, I’m going to post what songs I’m currently listening to while I write these blogs at the bottom of each entry. YAY

Nanette Lepore Poet Skirt $248

GAH! Nothing says back to school like a short, plaid skirt. I loveeee this! I think everyoneee should have a skirt like this. I’m obsessed. It can be worn with anyyything, which I love.

Black and White Alice Silk Crop Top $162

I love crop tops…and I think that this fall is going to be the perfect time to wear them. I’m a definite believer in bringing this trend back, and from what I’ve seen of fall lines and even a few things that came out late in the summer, it seems as if the fashion world is agreeing with me.

Hot Mess – Uncle Kracker

Hey Ma – Cam’Ron

90210 – Wale

Mojo So Dope – Kid Cudi

TOMORROW

Tomorrow is the BIG day. The Common App comes out online…which means I can officially start filling out my actual college applications….which means that I am officially applying to college! AHHH! I’m excited and terrified. Whatever I write on this application, and the supplements that come with it, will be what determines my college experience!

I don’t know what to do, I’m waiting and excited.

In other boarding school news, I received an email from one of my mother’s friends today, and she has requested that I give her friends a tour when they come to visit the school. Said tour is in OCTOBER. This is how early people plan for these types of things…bah

AHHH!

Hey guys! I’ve been MAD busy lately, with college applications, shopping for school, and trying to find time to relax this summer! Ah! So, once again, I’m sorry that it has taken so long for me to update this blog…ugh. I did buy some new things for school (as I mentioned earlier) so I’ll get to share that with you guys!!! YAY!

Burberry Small Packable Tote Bag $250

I got this bag to use as a bookbag…it’s unbelievably perfect! I can finally give my Longchamp bag a rest! Not that I don’t love that bag too…it has just been around for a year and a half now. It is certainly time for a new one.

Sam Edelman Torino Bootie $224.95

This shoe is to die for. I am absolutely obsessed! I can’t wait to wear them around New York in the winter with black tights and a cashmere Juicy Couture dress! Bah!!!! I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself. However, there is something you boarding school darlings should know, most of the time, heels (even wedges) are a BIG no no for daily boarding school life. This is why these shoes will ONLY be worn off campus.

Stuart Weitzman “Rodney” Boot $360

This boot is guaranteed to keep my feet warm in the winter, and it is boarding school friendly! I am so excited about it, that I almost want it to snow right now! Almost…haha. Anyyywayyy…these rain resistent suede boots are super comfy and super warm. I recommend picking up a pair for SURE!

Hunter Original Tall Rain Boot $125

I got these in brown. They’re super cute, and everyone loves a classic Hunter boot. EVERYONE at boarding school has either Hunter boots or J.Crew boots with little animals or whatever all over them! My old ones were just a short, black Marc Jacobs boot, so I was in need of an update! Of course, now I’m obsessed with these. I wore them today! YAY!

At this point, I’m so ready for fall…I even bought some clothes!

Vince Scrunched Corduroy Leggings $195

I got these in brown…They’re so comfy and cute! I loved them so much that I just had to get them. Vince is one of my absolute favorite brands because their clothes are chic and comfortable. It’s excellent.

Vince Turtleneck $95

Even though the model looks like she is in a ton of pain, this turtleneck is unbelievably comfortable! I am truly in love with it. I’m not a turtleneck girl, and this is so comfy that I think I’m going to have to become one.

Academy Blazer by Madewell $168

This blazer is SO cute. I love, love, love it. I can’t wait to just roll the sleeves up and look casual and cute, all at the same time. GAH I can’t waiiit for fall for one more second! It’s driving me crazyy!

So I know that this has been a super long post, so hopefully it makes up for everything that I haven’t posted…Keep reading guys and COMMENT! I loove your feedback!

Dinner (YUM)

Ok, so I quit studying earlier (typical) and I went to a friend’s house for dinner. There were about 13 of us there, plus my friend’s family…YIKES!

Well, we first got there and we immediately ran to the lake, stripped our clothes off, until we were only wearing underwear and bras, and jumped in. None of the boys joined us, poo. They’re so boring.

We got out and dried off, then had a delicious dinner (Mexican food, yum!)

We got back to school after a terrifying ride with her brother and I returned to my complete mess of a room. I would post a picture, but I’m way way way too embarrassed.

OH..My Ray-Bans (a boarding school essential) broke today…I was really upset. I’m going to get them fixed the moment I get home.

Oh well…we got our senior wayfarers today (plastic of course). Whatever, they’re “all the rage” at my school right now.

Well, my internet goes out in about 30 minutes, so I’m going to use that time to talk to my boyfraand. I’ll update you guys TOMORROW!

Hello world!

Well hello there!
I’m currently procrastinating…trying to get out of studying for my French exam and finishing my final science project. Oh, and don’t even get me started on my history paper. I’ve decided to start this blog to show everyone what it’s like to be a girl who goes to boarding school, and maybe fully develop my own true style and share this with the world. I hope you guys enjoy!

Now, I know a bunch of people out there are going through finals, or whatever, so I decided to show you guys what really helps me get through my finals.

A Lilly Pulitzer travel mug. This goes with me from my dorm room, to the dining hall, to the English classroom I’m currently studying in, back to the dining hall, to the snack bar, EVERYWHERE. It is literally my lifeline at this school, and at this point, I’m almost convinced that coffee runs through my veins rather than blood.

A Longchamp bag. While this is my regular school bookbag, it is especially important to me during exam week. I’m almost never seen without it…Sometimes I’ll switch it out for a Vineyard Vines bag with my school seal on it, but that is for very rare occasions.

A beach towel: essential for studying outside.

Well, that’s basically all I can think of for right now…I’ll definitely be getting back to you guys later! Good luck with finals!

xoxo
